i had an early mr twinnie.

man they were so far ahead. they lifted my surfing to doing stuff i didn't think could be done back then. i remember doing two cutbacks where i competele jumped the whole tail out of the water, then it grabbed and took off again- a wave i will always remember. absolutely best board ever and then it got stolen out of a surf shop waiting for a repair job.

the shop made me a replacement, but it was no mr and went like a dog

cheers

You can always get anther one Lacey. I had a look on the website and they do the replicas. I had a 5'10 and a 5'8 but I couldn't imagine trying to ride one now. Mine were shaped by Bob Margetts in Byron from memory. I think they are pricey as well.

i've had a couple in the last few years. a beauty for murry that i surfed until the tail fell to bits and the board lost its 'life'.
funny thing is we had 3 goes at making it again, but just couldn't get the same magic

I guess that's just another case of magic board syndrome.
