old school down here, you can't beat the sound of the boys rumbling through town on their Harley's to make people stop.

Jesus Arkgee that brings back memories at the tender age of 17 on my learners permit still. I went from a XLX 250 to GPZ 1100zx I think it was 84 model the fuel injected model with a four into one pipe what a steep learning curve that was I remember my mum bursting into tears when I pulled into the driveway on it

Its a beautiful bike mate I would wake up some Saturday mornings with my 1100 lying on its side on the lawn cause I had left it on its side stand as I was to pissed to get it up on the centre stand the 1100 was great in a straight line but a handful in tight turns

They call them Nike Bikies these days.......

BUT Chrispy, don't knock the Harley until you've owned one....... they're great for what they're designed to do, cruise the boulevards and eat up miles. I've had mine for 18 years and done over 100,000 Kim's on it and it was built in 1982....

On my way to Bundy this week, on the other bike, the Tiger 955, so may just have to drop by the Goldie and hit you upside the head and buy you a beer.....

Great thread to give me some motivation. I'm currently about to have my license taken of me for three months, or i get to go double or nothing. Cant decide if i can make 12 months with out a fine but the idea of riding a bike to the surf with board is not all that exciting at my age[}:)]
