I need new racks probably custom made due to fitting into a tight space. Looking for metal,anybody know where?

I'm also surfing a HP board with a leggie which is one foot shorter,should not be an issue back foot surfing.What do to think?

Agree about the leggie.
And apparently Piros is the Rack King. Some snaps here of actual board racks, among others.

9 boards if my count is correct.

Yea I think a new set of racks is warranted. But how do you choose which one to surf.

Oh theres another 3 shortboards on the floor and those on the rack are not mine ET.

Yep Piros does lovely racks. As for making more room - why not get Matt to move out ? Give you heaps more space everywhere

Metal racks for free! look for a metal bed base cut down the middle with an angle grinder you now have a set of racks capable of holding about 6-8 boards,get some plastic caps from bunnings to cap the ends ,bugle screws or 8mm dyna bolts to fix onto wall- total outlay about ten bucks.Recycle and re-use.

Ok looking for those fold out metal tube stands you see in most surf shops with the rubber on top,anybody know where you can get a set?

Oh the 8 foot leggie worked a treat its now 9.6 same length as the board.

did you check that set outside the Rippy shop at Greenie champion ???? might be worth sussing them out

You can hortizontal or vertical racks piece of piss

Draw something up go to your local steel fabricator and get him to weld something up.

Then get your chippy mate LL to whip up something. HE looks very handy with timber :)

I am sure with a few beers and some long thought you could come up with something. Draw up a little floor plan and what you are after and I am sure between us, builders, tradies, brainiacs etc we can find a solution for you and your loved ones..

go to that big hardware shop and by two horses and put some carpet/fake grass etc etc etc on it....you can paint them black red and white too

I'll post up a picture over the weekend of the ones I'm chasing,hardwares stores don't have them I was told to check GSI and FCS but same.
