First Fathers Day for me. 4 1/2 months and still struggling. Wondering when the corner will appear. This will go down as the hardest year of my life.
At the end of the day the love you feel for them is overwhelming. What a roller coaster! !
Hang in there McHenry I don't think it gets easier, its just different :(
This is my 5 th year without Dad being around, but I remember that first Father's Day without him...it was a hard day with only the joy of my kids who were 3 and 5 at the time making it bearable.
Congrats OBCT great news! Happy Grandads day!
My old man was a legend miss him dearly. Didn't realise or appreciate till much later in life that EVERYTHING he did was for myself and my brother. As a grommet he'd drive for miles and miles so we could surf on weekends chasing what ever was available up and down the coast, never questioning where we wanted to go or why just getting us there, never a thought for himself always us. We didn't have much so he made sure we had the beach and the experience of getting to enjoy the beach. Wasn't out of the question to do a run from up near Yanchep where we lived, to Avalon if we thought it could be on...no questions. I feel really lucky that I got to tell him how much I appreciated everything he did for me.

love Ya Dad,miss you like crazy.
