Been a bit of a dodgy weekend up this way.

Devil wind non stop, swell is picking up but of little use as the circus is in town.

So I thought I would duck out and get a beer or two.

Bought a six pack of my favourite Peroni and large bag of Deli Rock Salt chips.

Got to say the first two went down bloody quick and I am savouring the third right now.

In fact it was just like an " Angel Pissing down my throat".

Enjoy.

ET, I never understood the idea of just buying a 6 pack.
Why not a whole case ?

+ 1 I agree as Sometimes it's the smart thing to do. I hate being sensible though n I hate buying a 6pack on principle. In NZ a 6 pack is half the price of a dozen which is half the price of a box. 6 packs over this side of the Tassie are stupidly expensive relatively speaking.

Ok, I get the "I don't trust myself fact" but nobody has a gun to your head to put all 24 cans in the fridge.
Just put 6 in at a time.
Surely, you aren't that desperate you'll drink warm beer.
Then again if we all have a freezer.

yes the beer rotation policy I use at home employs the freezer as a standard play so its not too hard to get down to only 2 or 3 left and drop downstairs to the bigger stash and relocate a few of them. Jeepers its too early to be talking about beer already ! ! !

Not when you work nights.....I should employ the 6pack strategy, but I just can't justify spending $20 when a box is $40.
My strategy is just to not have beer in the house...when I buy em, I drink the lot, good times kebabs anyone

Hmm..well after 6 beers..the warm beers taste sorta cold enough to drink..need chips though.

Watch out for those sneaky brewers.... my favourite Peroni is no longer..... look on the bottle and check where it's brewed, some in SPA Italy, some in Farkin Melbourne under license, and it's just not the same......They're doing it with a lot of Euro beer now, so don't be fooled into thinking you're always drinking the imported stuff.

Peroni also have a Dopio Malto, Double Malt which is sensational.

Chzech Budvar or Budjiovicky, or Austrian Steigl are worth a shot and usually cheap, but still imported and brewed under the Rheinheitsgebot... Beer purity laws. Something Australian brewers seem to ignore.
