Well the low life scum of this world have done me over again, I flew back from Darwin a bit earlier than expected this afternoon & agreeing to do my boss a favor by driving his new cruiser ute home from the airport as he is staying up there a little longer & saving on a cab fee I decided to meet Mrs V in the city & go out for dinner. With there being an A League game on tonight my usual parking spot was unavailable so I parked on a busy street, busy with both cars & pedestrian traffic due the the soccer match.

On returning to the vehicle after dinner I find the passenger window shattered & hanging by the tinting on the outside of the door. As I'd just come from the airport by luggage was in the front of the ute with my laptop case tucked in beside my suitcase virtually unseen from any passers by, we'll aparently not! Laptop case gone with contents of my MacBook Pro, iPad, sunglasses (newly replaced after Byron incident), & new Bose ear buds & a host of other stuff gone!

It just amazes me how on a busy road with so many people around someone does this? And why does it never just happen when you have time to do something about it?
Anyway I'm just a bit jaded with it all & I'm kinda over giving a ****!

I just hope karma bites em on the arse big time one day!

Yeah going for a drive back there today to have a look if there's any chance there's cameras anywhere around.

Also check private buildings in the area as they usually have cams pointed out front doors onto footpaths protecting their assets which take in the street at times - you'll see that often on missing persons and bashing footage in the media - Police can access those tapes for any crime.

Good luck mate - any info might help even if it's of the perps further up or down the street giving facial recognition - maybe a servo or 7 Eleven in the area.

I'm hoping so mate, but I can't wait for insurance, I had to replace my computer & iPad as I use them daily for work.

I got nothing ted, I was mucking around with a mates kid, I did have 3 beers on board but that was not enough to make me fall and definitely not enough to numb the pain...
