I've had one of those pup on my longboard SUP ( Jimmy Lewis striker ) to try and loosen it up a bit as a thruster , have changed to the Ruben roxburgh thruster set up Which offered more of what I was after , looks great too .

I love my am2. On my hp Lacey. Del also has a thruster set he has just brought out that I want to try.

Tassie,is the Ruben a thruster or a 2+1 set up,as I just got a Ruben 9' to.ride my new one as a single for something different

i use a nine" cut away sometimes on my 12'6 boards for surfing- surf good and less drag. db is a double cut away , but seems to have more mid area then say a normal cut away fin. what does that mean- don't know. too small for a 12'6 and to be honest i wouldn't use a mid size cut away fin. it just doesn't seem right to me.

i'm not even sure about using 9' cut away's on my 12'6

sorry thats all i got

ps can't say i've seen many around except at shapers

Yep mate it's the 5.5 inch roxburgh 2 plus 1 set with 4.5 inch sides . , has really changed the feel of the board .

My favourite setup at the moment is the shapers corelite SQ7 quads With the darc drive nubster , lots of fun

Lots and lots of choices out there , do love the shapers fins though .

It's even worse when you finally decide on a set then find they only come as FCS when you need futures . ,

Prez Asea the chosen one , the only one , the big Yamba Board Harlot one , the Porterhouse Ranch cattle baron ..... I have just been informed via VCR on the old dusty ex-Prez McTavish Batphone that a hot souped up Audi will soon smash you

Well don't ever tell playing around with fins or set ups is a wait of time or money, the 9 inch really changed the feel of the pin' it suits both board and rider.
