Any suggestions of a good place to go for a good beginner on the Sunny Coast?
Not busy, easy waves.

Hate to say good luck on the nit busy part, but good luck.

All the easy places are filled by people looking for options like yourself....plus the rest.

Go find a beachie on a mellow day and you can't lose. There are plenty of options up there without me saying. Have fun finding them yeeeeoow

Any beachie on a small day with a fuller tide will be fine...

Find a car park, walk down the beach until the crowds thin out - will be sweet to go and have a crack then.

That's a very difficult question Mr PigWig, the other two replies are your best bet.

You want something, uncrowned and comfortable, as Leashy says high tide adds ease and comfort. I would forget any of the points until you are proficient.

Depending where you are on the Sunshine Coast there are plenty of uncrowned beach breaks, try the Kawana stretch, Maroochy North Shore, North of Coolum and around Peregian. These are all affected by wind at times, so pick your time and place and have fun.

Just give us the name Macaha, at least then we may be able to find it.

Just paddle out at Noosa.
Locals are friendly and encourage beginners.
They have even been known to let you take off on the inside at times.
Real good vibe.
'Plenty of waves to share' is their motto.
