Haha Daneli, what a flogging we received last night, was it just my television our players all looked a foot shorter than the other team, good turnout.

At least the Titans won in extra time, great game and with four of stars out a great result.Dam even the Blades won the other day

Yeah MAC, they just seemed shorter, younger and not as physical. Can't say K looked like a champion in the making either. However a hard season will just make the 1st premiership all that more sweeter.

I thought the Titans were Bloody lucky but happy to take the win.

I'm off to Coffs for the next week for work so will be exploring some of my old Grom stomping grounds.

Hope your getting some nice waves on the new weapon

I would have to say the best surf I've had in over a year, big call but this filthy baby started smoking the moment it was delivered, super fast down the line and looser than a dog on heat. Its a keeper and I am treating it to a little get away midweek.

I did see two old blokes with their sons today, the one and only Occy and Bugs still ripping at his age.

Enjoy Coffs

Looked a tiny clean wave today at "The Bank of Banks", The Super Bank. Mind you, I was looking from maybe 30km inland, and 5km in the air, on the approach to Brissy !! But it looked small and clean from a distance. Sun was out, beautiful water colour anyway!

Yes its dropped a bit, Saturday was amazing, Sunday smaller, raining which meant not many out,go figure hmm

I had the place to myself at mid tide and it started to grind into LM at low tide and later top of the G was on,I am so stoked with the new UFO.

Come Tomorrow night I'll be hitting the highway north and whats on offer is 3 to 4 foot perfect Noosa

Have fun up the coast !! I meant to say that the waves on the Superbank looked to be lining up and clean, just small and probably really fun on the sets.

I heard of a Gold Coast syndicate betting $6M per game against Gold Coast. Probably drug money... laundering... but it is collection time !! They probably picked up $250k to $400k before they dropped $6M...

Had lunch with a buddy the other day, and we dissected them (GC ALF Team), and we agreed that they have got some great talent with the young kids. They were just getting stage fright early on.

Congratulations to all the GC supporters !

Headed down to LM/GM today, went up the hill to check conditions to be greeted with the sight of every person living on the coast who owns any kind of board deciding to use it from Snapper to Kirra, there were bloody hundreds in the water. The waves were solid, steep & barreling. Front faces were a good 6-7'+ with the occasional clean em up sets coming through, just too steep & hollow for this black duck especially when you've got to immediately begin to dodge & weave between 20-30 surfers as soon as you took off.

The sweep was also pretty brutal with a constant procession of guys walking back from just south of Kirra point to restart back at LM.

I did it myself 3 times & gave up, feeling like a quitter but knowing my limitations & didn't want a damaged board. Saw some really good tube rides & there were at least 6-7 guys filming from the rocks & beach.

Oh well still beats work!!

Your not soft vanders, just smart mate.At 6 to 7 only for the young chargers and those days are long gone for me

And that sweep, you need to be an Olympic swimmer just to stay in one spot.
