Anyone recommend a shaper to turn my lonely 10ft blank into a
Crazy wave machine.
South Goldie would be good.

Yes you....if it's your blank go hard and post pics...

Otherwise, the smart move would be to ring Mr Steve del Rosso from Clearwater surfboard fame

on the GC but Steve is really the only one,oh the gold coast not one longboard shop in town its something that
drives me nuts, there is a market for it done right,I popped into Board Culture looking for a fix but no go they still
have not got a longboard in store.

Oh forgive me I feel better after my whinge

edit- one ex member informs me Coolie surf stock longboards but its not a longboard dedicated store.

Hey Mac talk to Taylor from Shop Next Door he needs a new home.

I reckon this stuff would sell well at your place Mac - you would love his board collections. Every time I go in there I would love to walk out with 4 or 5 of them - its a dangerous place and one should keep clear

We have over 150 boards in store which we will try to keep updated on this site as regularly as possible. We are the exclusive dealers of the following labels made & imported from the USA, unless shaped by the man himself on our shores Christenson, Kookbox, Mandala, McCallum, Ryan Lovelace Surfcraft. We also showcase the following boards Bing, Almond, Dick Van Straalen, Takayama, Vouch, Gato Heroi, Neal Purchase Jnr, Campbell Bros, Tyler, Wegener, La Maitre, Brown Microwave Television, Vampirate, Tyler Warren

Pretty sure they still sell longboards at kirra surf as well.

About the longboard shop,it would be hard compared to selling shorty's.

Exclude mac from this, but how many longboards is a person going to buy?

Every try hard surf shop now wants to sell coffee. It worked at one so guess what.

Once they pull out all those over priced longboards that have been holding up the ceiling for years won't it just cave in?

I believe there could be a new shop in the future Longboards forever at Macs Longboard Kingdom opening soon in Bundall

I can see it now: an awesome place, with lots of comfy seating where longboarders can safely hang out whenever its over waist high, sipping double de-caff soy lattes with a love heart swirl free of ridicule from those pesky shortboarders. He could run longboarders clinics...with a consulting physician for all the common longboarders problems: cholesterol, heart, kidney liver dysfunction, impotence and weak bladder issues. Free on-site prostrate exams.
He could even run "surf" trips to Thailand to get your teeth done while enjoying massages with happy endings from the hostesses who also stroke the ego by telling you, "you sexy man" which you haven't heard from a woman younger than 25 in over 3 plus decades.
Barber shops are especially trendy right now so there could be space for a barbers chair where one could have the barber trim the remaining side hairs and also nose, eyebrows and ears.
Let's not forget a manscaping cubicle with back sack and crack waxing too.
The full range of old guys rule clothing could sell well. A massive range of boat shoes too.

...Am I banned yet?
