Just went up to drop a board off to get glassed and Darren "Dicko" Dickson was in there...what a guy didn't even ask my name just grabbed my board took me straight into the bay and spent the next hour and half explaining things and showing me a few tips and tricks to get a better result a cleaner finish...some stuff you just can't learn from the internet or watching videos...what a legend!

Good story and it's good to be able to watch it all happen. Back in the 90's a guy who surfed in the longboard club made me a board and asked me down to watch while he shaped it which I did. Then he took it into another room and I watched as he did this nice resin bleed on one half of the deck and bottom. He did it squirting pigmented resin out of plastic sauce bottles. Turned out nice.
