For south tas she looking like a frustrating one, freakin cold but swell direction and wind direction just not working. Fingers crossed though, she might just line up on the tail

Dam cold here today for the record. Coldest day of the year so far - howling winds n loads of snow down south. Surf is as flats as a flat thing here today. Ahhhhhh.

you look sick to me Tux - its like you have the flu or something - a real heavy dose of man flu by the look of it. Might be time to go find those spots you found whilst doing your long run last month ! 5m at 14 plus looks like too much for me

Its lapping at the shore today. Flat conditions, not much swell to speak of at all. Clean conditions with N wind, tending more NW later. Choose another sport.

Yeah, I've looked at the forecasts over the last day or 2, and nothing got me excited... I saw the wind forecast... Very windy, and not great wind directions either...

We had some good size swell, but we don't have a lot of sheltered spots on the West Coast. So we havta wait for winds to settle into the right direction most of the time. We did get a couple of good days, nothing huge but fun size. Sunday was pretty decent size, but I had work. Just posted a vid from yesterday...there's probably some good waves today, but I'm out of action for the moment

It's really only 4ft+ down here at the moment. Nothing like the 12ft+ that was being spoken of!

I'm getting more excitement out of looking at the Snow Cams in The Alps!

Here is the wave buoy off Sydney - as you can see its flat as a pancake except for the short period stuff from the west as a result of the strong westerly - weird times !!

This swell has just been a mongrel swell! I thought it would be though... Rough lumpy swell, and less than ideal winds... Nothing to get overly excited about! But better than nothing...

Hopefully it cleans up a bit by tomorrow....fingers crossed
