Help me out guys, I want to know where on the GC to take my plank early Sat morning?

All I want is somewhere with clean small waves with a long period between waves. Looks like it will be high tide, so I want somewhere that is not too deep at high tide. I don't want to drive an hour and a half to find a thick waves that develop 2 meters before crashing at the shore (done that 3 times now on the sunny coast)

Also, don't have the skills to reliably steer around rocks yet and don't want to be punched in the face if I accidentally drop in in front of someone else.

Where to go

There certainly will be another GC day. I only thought GC as the wind forecast is so low early Saturday.

Was just stirring Mac Kadil as his regular spot is currently maraudered by the pro tour.

Early Saturday morning with the high tide you'd be best just hitting any of the beach breaks. Likely too small for any point other than Snapper where the contest will be on if not moved to D'bah.

Yeah, figured.

Been to Coolum, Curimundi and Moffats at high tide, lots of paddling practice, that all.

Ok I have the place sorted kadil, not far from the comp.
My plan will be go early, snag a park, surf them a wee walk the the comp or if it over the hill (like me) drive the car a little closer or I could whack my bike and ride.

Them we will be super hungry and CMC cooks a mean BBQ[:D

What board will you be riding kadil,I like hitting high to mid tide pending swell size.

I own 2 boards, one is the 7S SF XL 8' , and the other one is an ironing board. At high tide they have the same ridden wave count

No it's not. If you want that, then you should be in Perth. I've only been out 4 times since Xmas.... it's been just rubbish and this longweek looks more of the same... CMC will tell me to get a SUP or Kite... but that's not for me.

Well I'm heading north early tomorrow. To the only place with enough sand for high tide. After that the graphs suggest I need to buy a kite.
