Just had to go and pick the chick up from the surf club - its been her work Christmas party....she left me a note asking me to go get her at 5:15pm as her phone was drowned in a glass of wine before she left home....I got there and it was madness.....nothing worse than being sober as a judge and walking in to a scene where everyone has been on it since midday.....and they can not understand why you do not want to go to the pub with them....home safe now with a stellar in my hand and the cricket on. Peace and quiet. Joy. Must be getting old as well

I am a kiwi not a Queenslander .....not had that brew before....will keep an eye out for it and give you some feedback. Is this Macs normal brew as well?

funny,when i first moved to the sunny coast,i got a job at my local as the thursday arvo mc and barman....well the first thing they showed was a wall full off pics,showing all the local drinkers. these people were not banned from the pub...

So shall I make her sleep downstairs in the spare room as payback? She would - and has made me do this in the past.....or shall I be an upstanding citizen and let it go through to the keeper this time hoping for some sort of sympathy payback voucher I can use in the future? Surely I am dreaming if I think it does not have a very very short expiry date....advice?

ted i encourage my girl to go out and party with her mates...i sit at home getting relaxed with a nice fillum...then when she returns..well you just cant beat drunken....

i did some summer work down in the snow fields and stayed for the season. ended up doing a few seasons.

the bar had a shots selection. i came up with green, blue and black level shots.

stroh is the meanest black level. would drop a elephant.

i remember we were having a few yogies etc one night i had off. one of the bargirls gave us some stroh to finish the night off.one of the girls i was drinking with had to be carried home.

i couldn't walk down the hallway to my room without going from one wall to the other. i couldn't talk either. it's funny, i knew what was going on, but i had no control over my body.

one club lodge barman used to make a show of it and wear long gloves and goggles, poured the stuff on top of up side down ice bucket. as soon as the person took the stroh he flipped the bucket just incase they spewed.

Well one of my daughters is off to New York tomorrow and mac is in the middle of a send off bash.help me some hotties here right now

edit- oh dad I'm having a few over for send off drinks tonight,sweet but now its blown out to a full on party

Lacey, Stroh is one of the best Austrian Exports ever. We offer it to guests we want to leave, because it usually sorts them out pret quickly.

We are, as I type this, making our annual Christmas biscuits, which includes a brace of rum balls, made with Stroh at a ratio that requires a taxi after you've eaten 4. The alcohol stays in them because they're not cooked, or heated in any way, but they're heaven.

Having a bride of German/Austrlan extraction has been great for my culinary and alcoholic education, but not that great for my waistline
