Saw a 9'6" firewire mal yesterday. Lovely lines.

Bamboo all over.

Any feedback about them?

I looked at the TJ pro a couple of times, there are a few models in there range.
The TJ is fairly thin but looks good, I have considered test riding one before I get a new one. The one I looked at was 9'0 and very thin, which I liked.

Seeing your in Newy Beerdead try Slimes in Newcastle, they have a bit of a test drive range and I think sandbar in the junction do to.

Thanks SP.
Slimes is where I saw it.
Had no intention of getting a new board, but it's taken my eye.

The Mrs got me a SUP for my 60th, with the information that there will be "no more boards this year!"
I usually get a short board and a longer board every year or two.

I currently am riding a 9'6" Walden which is nice, but you know how it goes.

i had a firewire tj pro model, but it wasnt for me. it was fast an turned easily, its a good hp board but i couldnt stand the poppy bouncy feeling it gave me when there was any chop on the face it just didn't seem to feel settled to me, but in saying that guy i sold it to loves the thing. so i guess its best to test ride one to see if it suit your style

The first line had me the second line lost me, that was what I thought might be the problem with them, they'd be red hot, no wind and 4ft of reef pass or point but grovelling in beachies might be the problem..

Not to mention the problem of getting said six pack to you.

I'll remember the rules next time :)

You've started something now. I've just uploaded some old boards under 'Old favourites' in the shortboards forum. Link www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Surfing/Shortboards/Old-favourites/
