Hi folks.
I'm thinking of selling everything I own in the world and buying a Firewire Gem 9'1". I live on the west coast of Ireland and want something for most conditions. I'm currently riding a 10' Pearson Arrow and a 7'6" egg by a local shaper but my bad old man back doesn't like paddling the smaller board so I'm thinking of selling both for the fabled one board quiver that the Gem is advertised as.

Just wondering if many people have any experience of or have ridden the Gem and what you all think of them

Cheers folks

Hi and welcome we would love to see some images of your local, hard core surfing up there. Can't help with the board but I guess you would be limited compared to what we have.

Hello my friend. I am from Greece, crete island and I got a Gem 9,1 . I'm so happy and excited about what capabilities this board has. The gem has Longboard heart with Shortboard Soul! I use an FCS Connect 8' PG fin and FCS G-XQ sides. Its Super Fast and manuvrable like a shortboard and excelent paddler and steady like Longboard. I Love this Board! Realy. Here in West Crete we have waves 0.5m - 4m from mediterranean sea.
