I'm looking at a thruster setup for performance.

Sadly shapers have been out of stock for ages on the Stealth fcs 1 fin box set up.

What are you running and in what board?

Heard Shapers is doing a big restock.

Yeah I ordered and paid for a set online only to be told they were out of stock that was a 5 weeks ago and still no stock.

I heard that the restock was around this week. What board are they going into Mac?

any longboard . s9 centre , s7 sides.

ive got no clue why anyone would use a 2 plus one in a performance mal . too slow, no power, no drive

the 2 mals mac sold my I was less then impressed until I got a thruster set in them

ok the centre is slightly bigger but its way more thruster then 2 plus one

I ride this setup on everything if the holes are there to take 3 fins.

the bad news for diehards I developed my taste for this setup in my 666 surfing days.

Jackson from memory goes s9 sides and s7 centre. that what his model was. could have changed thou

mac , you've never listened to me, then Jackson said its the go you got a set, but you didn't have the apple to even try them before you sold them.

what makes this time different may I ask respectfully?

Why don't you use a straight thruster set with an adaptor in centre box I don't think you need a larger centre fin even when it gets sizey

no stifling, just wondering why. would love to see him step out, he gets close sometimes, but pulls on the handbrake like worlds would collide

If I needed similar fins now I'd go for these, gotta love the good old AM2's

MR twins with trailer work really well on hp board makes coming off the top a lot easier. Have a modern log and FireWire hp but thinking of selling both for an all rounder from local shaper who makes nice boards single fin in box.Time to thin the quiver all round including short boards

The green Merrick AMs or the CW 2+1 are what I have been using lately. The Clearwater are great, haven't changed fins since I put them in. Before that I was also. using a Mct set from a sumo. Gx and 6 inch centre, I think.
Harley Ingelby also just released his own fins through FCS which might be worth a look

I'm using the stock mctavs 3 fin set up on the 9.6 sq tail fireball & it never slides out and holds on the steepest drops ..but I've often wondered if a singe fin such as in the pinnacle would perform as well in sucky waves ..I've never owned a true single fin mal ..

That's what I use however I had Wiz make me some in between sizes which worked better I've just called Shapers and they have no idea when the stealth C9's are due, she said they have a lot of guys chancing them and they have no idea what comes in a delivery it just turns up in drips and drabs, shame.

You could try this bloke. Can't see it saying they are out of stock. He seems to have some other shaper fins aswell.

Yeah I'll never let any of Wiz fins goes much so If been selling boards either without fins or I'll drive down to mct and get a set.

Just had a beautiful offer from Chrispy to try a set out cheers champion.

there is a good article in Swayloks forum about 3d printing longboard fins by "Miki" the same inventor of the shaping machine ..really futuristic designs .. & here on the GC .
