Story,the other day I was surfing a very packed house.Paddled out at LM 3 foot the banks at Snaps have gone due to the Xmas swell and LM was first take off point with hundred out into the bay.The sweep kept taking everyone back into Snaps so we all kept paddling back to LM.Anyway after 30 minutes two waves later I said fk this got another one into north bay.It was a good one and decided to paddle halfway for a couple of going home waves.Nobody was on the inside bank.I got a few more nice ones and this Asian logger who has a cool style joins me,I've seen this guy around and man he is good.An hour later just him and I,I said hey mate how good is this,he said yes sir its good here and look at them up there.We went wave for wave until the guys rocking up must have seen the fun we were having and bingo two,three,one,another four paddled out,game over.One guy was riding a fish wearing a red headset and around 55 we got chatting (nice bloke)then this guy with tatt's wearing a truckers cap joins us,I've seen this guy many times and he is not on my card list,good surfer as most are in this line up.All feeling good and chatting the tatt guy said hey you want this?I say you go mate(I'm still chatting to the fish fry 55 yr dude listening to him complaining about how his board needs to sit in the pocket and stuff)The tatt guy gets it and paddles back out,he said hey thanks mate,I was in shock this guy thanked me.So here we go me the tatt' dude and the Asian who all surf the same break made contact one that will last a long time.
