For mine close choice between Preservation Bay ( Tassie ) ,1770 (Qld) , Pebbly Beach (NSW ). I think Pebbly Beach would be my bestest , 4 WD access , only keeps the crowds down , camp right on the beach , nice surf . 20 years ago would have been 1770 but unfortunately the development has killed it

I love that place so much I am getting married there next year!!!!!

Over west my fav is left-handers.......quality wave absolutely love the place. I also love Point Plomer and its surrounds - so much beauty and in the winter you get it all to yourself midweek. Heaven. They also let you have an open fire - which not too many beaches around NSW allow anymore.

I mean if you could swindle your way into living within some sort of walking distance to the Pass or Wategos , some pretty Lege stickmakers in town so you could wander round each week for a drool sesh , Mac,Chrispy,Aseaaaaa.LL & the GC crew Weiry further up the road , Boof ,obct,SP,SMH,Scotty (and those tits) & ted to the south ......yeah you'd be pretty happy to curl up ya toes there.

Its funny isn't it how we just want what we do not have almost....I mean i love where I live its unreal. Stoked. Lots of good waves and beautiful beaches around here and crowds mid week are minimal.....but I just want to move west to Marg River area.....the problem is the chickybabe hates the flys over there esp. at Christmas. Its a big stumbling block. This time of the year over your way Pup is unreal....easterly winds and lots of swell. I could think of no where I would rather be than sliding into few over there right now. The sharks do scare me a bit though. Byron is unreal to visit....not sure if I could handle living there though. My old boss lives up there and I often stay with him when I am there and he reckons it just keeps getting busier and busier.....it would have been a great spot to live 10 - 20 years ago I reckon. But yes if someone wanted to pay me a decent bit of wedge to be based there I would probably not say no......

I do love home Ted , no question - pretty stable diet of 30 degree plus weather & no rain is what i'd have to adapt without.Margs has grown , was small once but will always be a premier spot-hard not to love the feel of the place.
Yeah the plane time direct is 4 hours or so bloody long
But when a time comes ,,,,,

It was treacherous but Looks can be deceiving, COME BACK and have another look

that was at easter this year so it's prob 8ft ish, but I haven't ever seen it wrap around that point like it was

This was taken same day from the other end.

Ok you got me there - I am turning blue now with embarrassment. I thought it was the other spot due to the slope on the headland - but it would appear on a closer inspection that there is too much vegetation on that one.

Are you trying to THROW people off sp.

Na it isThe one that comes back , we didnt drive down that far to the other one, you can see the sign where the beach entry comes out near the northern carpark.

It's a bit of a weird shot really, I wouldn't have picked it if I didn't know. But it was taken from the lookout halfway down the beach. And the swell wrapping down the point makes it look different.

And the second one isn't the same place, it's the one around the corner.
