Yeah, I agree the new tech is good, The Joel Tudor LB by surftech is a nice looking log, had a good look at one the other day.
Why do you think people stick with glass construction, do epoxy etc feel that much different? Is it a price thing?
For me I like my LB heavyish and they just seem to light but never really ridden one enough to compare. But I was getting out paddled by an old dude on one the other day and it made me think do the lighter epoxy boards catch wave easier, surf was small and fat and I could out paddle him on the way out but he was catching waves heaps easier and I reckon it was cause the light epoxy board. Thoughts ?
