Reason I ask is I am gonna buy a shorty with a resin tint. Check this out;

Wouldn't be an issue on a longboard, but with a shorty I need it light.

Don't sweat tints are the rage on shortboards atm.

Here's my sons latest.

I'd say not enough to matter, it's not like they are using 8oz volan glass or anything, they are still made of the same stuff as the white ones just coloured resin.

Alot of the tinted logs are glassed heavy intentionally that is where the weight is, 2 boards the same material I doubt you'd notice the weight difference

agree with sp. you start going for hi gloss polished finish well its going to weight up.

in a protec finish - nothing in it
