I cut the bottom of my little toe yesterday at Winki. I think when I was coming in. I must have cut it on either a sharp (broken) sea shell or a bit of glass amongst the reef. It's really only a knick, but now it's weeping a tiny bit.

What's your best advice for tending to it. I'm about to give it some antiseptic, and then put a band-aid over it, and just wear thongs.

Alternate, put on shoes and socks, but I'm worried it will sweat too much in shoes.

I'll put some concrete in my next coffee too. Then I'll harden up!

The open air approach wasn't working for me on this one.

I just cleaned it up, put some antiseptic on it, and a gauze band-aid.

You'd laugh at a photo of the cut. It's only 5mm long on the bottom of the little toe!

It's a tiny bit sore, but the beer has now started.

Water is a warm 16-17 degrees at the moment. You're water doesn't even get to 16-17!

Come for a surf at Big Hells Bells in August, and lets talk about who needs to HTFU !

Eleven.
11.
Degrees Celcius.
Minus Wind Chill some days.
Maybe 5 degree effective.
I'm lucky, I have thick helmet of hair which helps!

The antiseptic cream under the band-aid has done the trick.

My sister is great, she gave me this great little medical kit that I use every now & then.
