We had a 3m swell hit us yesterday and today. It was onshore a little bit. So pretty bumpy. But some OK ones in amongst it.

When I say 3m, I mean really solid 3m+ waves faces. Double overhead in crouch stance.

Having said that, I probably would have had more fun, more rides, and longer rides, down at Point Roadknight on a 9'6. Protected spot.

475 metres ! That's amazing. Google Earth estimate. 450m+ easy.

I was on a really really big board. There was about 50 other craft out there, including a stack of longboarders on the inside section, maybe 2 wave-ride-skis, another 4+ kids inshore on skis, and 2 racing ocean surf skis, and 2 plastic ocean kayaks, and only 3 SUP's. I was plucking off the wide ones, and riding them all the way down to the Timber Erosion Fence.
