Good one Mac, but you're going to have to try a bit harder to beat the dims of my next stick.

Try 10.2 x 24 x 3 5/8

And the shaper is a guys who had previously done work for Shaun Thompson and Micky Dora.

Oh, I forgot to mention, a 12mm stringer.

with the all new trim Mac this board will probably be like a 12 footer for you now Are you going to get a 666 handle put in it to help you transport it - they look bad but are functional

Sweet Mac. Those rails are so "you". Kind of a variation on your signature tiger stripe rails...

Good work buddy!

(edit - PS, I'm pretty busy earning money at the minute... That's the only reason you're not seeing my dribbling posts lately! )

nice mac

hey this might be a stupid question... but i believe sometimes i find it harder to paddle onto a wave with the big 10 than the 9 6

the 10 is longer wider and thicker... but i am further back from the nose naturally...so feel like i am sinking the arse a bit sometimes

and if i edge fwd too much she buries the nose a little..sometimes, whereas on the 9 6 i have that lil bt extra weight fwd???

where am i going wrong? :( did that make any sense at all ?

nice board mac

Jas, I know what you mean. Sometimes I'm up and trimming in the middle of the board waiting for the wave to steepen up for the real drop... and you have to time your shuffle back to the tail to lay over your bottom turn...

Am I making sense?

Looking good mate, can't wait to see it finished & get the first ride review.

I'm actually thinking of getting them to slightly round the nose a little more on mine.

First chance I've had to have a decent look at this and OB new boards, two absolute gems of big boards, I had my model T out today, Macs first comment made me think about being on a SB since Xmas so I took the big beast out today and to be honest loved it, got a few cracker and big boards are great crowd control you just pick off your few waves get in early and away you go, no issue with the crowd.

I reckon this will end up your go to board mac, you'll be surprised I reckon by how much you like the extra paddle factor and early entry into waves. They look a lot like the noserider type boards around late 90 early 2000, big wide nose and pulled in tail.

And good to see SMH back, been in the water much?
