Just received a couple of shots of the cruiser part laminated. The sunset will live on with a twist. As I said to obct the other night it is his, Bigspazz and SP's love of the big boards that got me thinking, thanks boys The board is a wave PIG[}:)]
nice nice, love the free lap. This is a big board u will have any waves u want on this thing i was blown away by the size of it considering its only 10ft
with the all new trim Mac this board will probably be like a 12 footer for you now Are you going to get a 666 handle put in it to help you transport it - they look bad but are functional
Jas, I know what you mean. Sometimes I'm up and trimming in the middle of the board waiting for the wave to steepen up for the real drop... and you have to time your shuffle back to the tail to lay over your bottom turn...
obct said... Good one Mac, but you're going to have to try a bit harder to beat the dims of my next stick.
Try 10.2 x 24 x 3 5/8
And the shaper is a guys who had previously done work for Shaun Thompson and Micky Dora.
Oh, I forgot to mention, a 12mm stringer.
half inch like a perve at that Obs sounds the shizz too
@ Simogrom - its a signature stick isn't it
took her out for her first paddle this arvo, if you're nice to me I may even post a pic of the yellow peril
drooooooooooool tail is wagging Lord Obct of the humorous bone I am most sorry for insinuating you may have Hookers Blush or Gonadus Crustaceous Infectus
First chance I've had to have a decent look at this and OB new boards, two absolute gems of big boards, I had my model T out today, Macs first comment made me think about being on a SB since Xmas so I took the big beast out today and to be honest loved it, got a few cracker and big boards are great crowd control you just pick off your few waves get in early and away you go, no issue with the crowd.
I reckon this will end up your go to board mac, you'll be surprised I reckon by how much you like the extra paddle factor and early entry into waves. They look a lot like the noserider type boards around late 90 early 2000, big wide nose and pulled in tail.
