The old 1950 Studebaker Champion hey Ob,don't see to many of them around these days.Down your way today was it?..
I reckon it would look pretty cool actually with a longboard on the roof but I don't think you can put racks on it because of the back window,no gutters!...
Seen it before in the car park of Narabeen Bunnings. Spotted it again today at Mona Vale where I took that pick.
It's Right Hand Drive so I'm assuming it's been in the country since original.
it's a long ways short of concourse and that's what I like about it. It's got a really good patina.

The grandson has recently discovered thunderbirds so I'm learning a lot about the show. BTW, I'm always Scotty, the missus in Virgil and the boy is Gordon. We're auditioning for a lady Penelope and a Parker.

We didn't have much money so I would make one out of shoe boxes and paint it all up.

I was lucky enough to get that toy for a Birthday or Christmas present can't remember which one now.Yeah Mac we really didn't have much either,I would make some things like that to,that was our creative side coming out
Okay, moving well away from cars, I was just a bit too old to really get into the old Marionette puppet Thunderbirds, but I do have a very vivid memory of one aspect, and that was Parkers strange affected cockney accent. He always sounded like he had an incurable sinus condition.
They've changed it for the animated version, however, whenever I see his on the new vids, I start to mimic him in the old accent, so much so, that my 4 year old grandson will often chime in with,
"Sorry Lady Penelope, but I've got this terrible Sinus condition"
We piss ourselves when he does it.
This thing used to get me every time just had to look at it
George Barris certainly had an eye for the bizarre. 3 Model T bodies making it 18 feet long. The 289 was meant for a Cobra I think. Pat Priest who played Marilyn, the 'normal' Munster was a peach too.
