1. do not go left on a right and avoid the issue all together
2. if you do put yourself in that position just jump straight into the pool - not back into the surf.
3. lose the leg rope as Tux suggests

Perhaps SA was down there on the weekend watching and can give us an eye witness account.

Always some quality reading material to be found there.....here is one such example. We have it so easy in here in comparison

WOW, whats with the lady hate Andrew, is it because no girls talk to you cause you look like you should be on a register? Or are you just a fan of drinking salty old man ball sweatWhilst Tyles it out surfing and growing pubes, two things i'm sure you are yet to do successfully. You are most likely swapping sides at the local glory hole so you can get blown on by creepy old dudes

Tyler was a bit unco-ordinated there, of all the rocky breaks around Nulla, the Alley is the easiest to negotiate

It was my understanding when I heard about this the other day that she wasn't jumping in at all. She had caught a wave - gone left - and ended up on the rocks in front of the pool - and then the video takes over. Perhaps there is some other footage that shows that start of the incident.

Concussion by the looks of that

Edit: and just a guess I'd say she's tried to get the stick so she had something to get back to shore on pure survival instinct

That's nuts! Couldn't she see the pool was obviously closed - why would she go in there? The clubbies would have been chasing her after that!

Head high surf requires balls for a surfer in a competition? You must be joking. If you are in a comp surely you must be competent enough to easily handle head high surf. Male or female I reckon.
