Where to go?

Have a chance of ducking off for a week in November. Not interested in spending a lot of time sitting in Airports etc so looking for a close flight to home (Sydney)

Have been given a solo leave pass so needs to be relatively cheap to get past the Minister for fun, finance and war..

Have a mate psyched and ready to go..

On the wave front. Nothing to hectic. Not the fittest I've ever been.

Anyone been to the Solomon's?
Or have any other suggestions?

NZ great option. Fly into Auckland n rent a camper van. Check out the swell forecasts and drive off. Easy. Great food wine beer and heaps of sheep. A no brainer. PM sent

Have a reason to be there so going to have a look around while we are there. Looking forward to it.
Don't know how much surfing will be going on though..

Had to sell all 3 of them mate - just too much stuff I cannot take it all ..... but I may do another Greenroom Surf Club item in the future to fit all of us into it ..... one side all racks for boards & the other side seats for handsome farkers .... plus a cage for Cobra down back

Thanks for all the suggestions boys.

Just gotta figure out what works now.

Have been to PNG before and it's one of the options still but the guilt is getting to me so i might be looking for a more family orientated local option.

I'd had a **** month, week and day at work. I jut walked in and told her i was going surfing...

That's fine Honey. But there isn't a lot in the holiday account was the only response.

I think she new full well that i would change my mind and just went along with it..

Yeah I wouldn't like my missus going on a holiday without me, so I don't take holidays without her. Happy to have her along for the ride...but anyway...family holiday, local. Goldy is always a winner, South of the border not so attractive atm. But Currumbin Bird Santuary, a choice of waterparks. The waterfalls up in the hills & plenty of places to sneak off for a wave. Great place, I know I'll be back...or Bali...or Lombok if you can get a direct flight from your neck of the woods...
