As the title says.
Currently at Kiama and about to head over to a mate's place at Lake Conjola tomorrow for a day or two.
After that heading North and will stop at Coffs harbour on the way home to the Sunshine Coast.
Looking for suggestions as to where to stop off on the way from Conjola North to break up the trip to Coffs? Not familiar with that part of the coast at all.
Somewhere we can stay at a caravan park by the beach (we are tenting it) and can have a surf if there is a wave and nice surrounds for wifey and the boy to enjoy as well.
Looks like the weather is about to take a turn for the worse so may end up just being an overnight stop so somewhere I dont have to go too far off the highway would be good.
Not asking much hey!
Don't need to tell me any secret spots.

How many hours approx you want to drive in a day? Half way between Coffs and conjola? That probs puts you near Newy. An hourish either side is probably better for waves.
But if the reports are right and it is an easterly that pretty much kills everywhere anyway.

I'll Pm you the secret spots

Oh that's right there is none left

Hi SP, yeah in that 1/2 way mark. I reckon North of Newcastle will be most likely. Forster, Old Bar.
Crescent may be pushing it. Looking at getting there Wed or Thurs.

Thanks for the heads up re the sticky fingers and the prospect of waves. Hopefully its ok tomorrow as wifey wants to check out waterfalls around Coffs so could be rolling over to there soon.

What is your biggest board? I have had some beautiful gliding waves at that size from out back all the way to the creek on an 11 footer. Enjoy. Hope the crowd factor is low.

How good are those dark room tents. Brillant idea.
Creso gets the least swell of anywhere up there, might be worth taking a look down the dirt road if the wind hangs off.

Howling onshore this morning. Packed up and headed North. Took a side trip up waterfall way to Dorrigo. Back to Coffs. Onshore and garbage. Northwards...maybe Byron. Got near the turn off and weather turned crappy so thought stuff it and continued on. Short run home tomorrow. Maybe Greenmount will improve tomorrow morning. This afternoon it was rideable but I didn't go out. I dont mind if I miss out on some waves. I can always take the bike for a spin when I get home.

Had a grovel at Greenmount this morning. Haven't surfed there in years. Longboarding has become extremely popular there I see.

About 6.30am. Billy Tolhurst fish so was a scraps dweller. On a positive note I dropped into the factory that glasses McCoy's (amongst many other brands) and picked up a sweet Quazor zip 6'4".
