Sweet as. Some fun looking boards. Mate reckons, you can always tell a surfer who learned on a single fin, to one that started on thrusters. More fluent.
Thanks for the post..those guys have the right wave at Burleigh for those old sticks....they are so stiff compared to todays multifins and are great down the line. I remember when channels were introduced to singles in the late 70's and it seemed a massive leap in speed out of a turn..even using a rigid glass fin..so would a channel single with flex fin be up to a 3/4 fin these days ??
A good mate of mine is getting a wing round pin single fin made for him. It should be ready in a month. I think the fin is 8 1/2 inch.Will get some pics up as soon as I can.
Some nice surfing there Mac thanks for posting. A few of the blokes showed some real style whist I thought a few of the others were forcing it too much thinking they were on HPSBs. Fun wave Burleigh - only surfed it 3 times but always enjoyed it. Too busy for me
