Just heard a Resto in Burleigh had its windows belted by waves - Tide is 1.7m above normal high tide level fmd nice place too .... Christ Mac the canals apparently under severe threat mate

That would be the one on the ground floor on the point,just as I was thinking it was settling down its gone all nuts again,power dropping in and out in the shop.

It's on the telly channel 7 right now - MEESH's - geez it's incredible waves up past halfway the window height - water pouring in & out mate , trashed

Mate we did the fitout of that place sadly it only lasted a few months,something to do with the landload.Not sure if someone else took it on after it closed.

Tweed river banks are breaking

Most of the Gold Coast Camera's and "experiencing technical difficulties"! Palm Bach cam is working. You can sort of see sand at least... no major flood issue at the coast! D-Bah cam is working but there was sheets of water running down the perspex face blanking visibility!

Hard to believe it is happening again so soon after 2011 .

Just heard Bargara , nice little beach resort near Bundaberg has been smashed by 3 tornadoes .

Hope everybody gets through with no major damage

Have you got a convenience store or Servo with ice mate (fridge etc) ???? Might also be an idea to slip somewhere and get a Genny Lace - you can always sell it afterwards for good coin , very handy item trust me & pretty silent nowadays too

That place at Burleigh looked like a fish tank with the water half way up the windows, pouring back out the broken ones.

The place looked empty so they new what was coming by the looks of it.....
