I need some advice guys as I haven't build a board before (have build just about everything else) I bought my self a block of eps high density foam.
I would like to build a classic nose rider with a lot of volume(fat bastard)
I currently ride a 12ft Munoz 26wx4inch Im looking at shaping a 11x25x4
I probably reduce the thickness due to the wide nose and tail.
19inch on the nose 17inch on the tail square tail.
I would not know dimentions for the rocker ,I hear that it has to be quite flat.
What to you guys think?

11x25x4 crikey I reckon even a fat turd like me could nose ride that.

I like plenty of volume ,but the Munoz is not a nose rider.A smaller guy probably can
but that is not what is desighned to do.Plus I weigh 120KG
I 'm thinking 4inch on stringer tapering down to the rails

4 inches thick - what are you going to do stand up paddle it

As for rocker somewhere around 3.5-4" in the front and 2" in the back would be my guess but that's my guess and I'm not a "true shaper".

I'd personally take 0.5-0.75 of an inch of the thickness or you might end up with a pretty thick nose and tail plus the light weight of eps will add to the boyancy.

If your looking for shaping information hit up swaylocks you'll find answers to everything there.

Good luck with shaping the block, I always take the easy route and get blanks machine shaped.

Hazza that board will be way too big to noserider 'properly'

Anything over 9'6" to 10; is going to be too big. The idea behind nose riding is to get the suction over your rails so 4" will be too big there too. As Crazy Canuk alluded to bouyancy is your enemy, its all about suction

You will be hard pressed to find a better article than this by tom wegner

I reckon you have the nose, tail and square tail down though

that looks interesting, thanks, now I've got something to read on the bus tonight.

I may even learn something, heaven forbid that should happen.

I'll point out that when I design a board I hunt around web sites and board shops to get a good idea of what I'd like you can learn an amazing amount that way.

Thanks for the replys guys
I was looking at the pearce&Arrow nose rider at Dripping wet the other day(CJ Hobgood) and that is 10ft long .I have riden a Watercooled 10.6 and it felt like a toy .Comming down from the Munoz is going to be hard.
I will like to go up to 11ft long .Now the thickness as I was thinking of starting at
4inch at the stringer and roll the deck to the rails ,on flat deck my ribs cage compreses to much and breathing is harder.
Are rolled decks good or bad?
My thinking is volume in the centre and standard thickness on rails Am I making
sense?

Neither good or bad mate, comes down to personal preference.

Ive had both, I prefer the flat deck but wouldn't turn down a rolled one
