I think we are still getting a bit ripped off on retail prices here... Nearly all retailers have refused to change their pricing on standard products... Back in early 2009 the Exchange Rate to USD was about 70c....
If a set of FCS Fins were USD$65-$70 there, we paid about AUD$100 for the equivalent here... Relatively fair at the time... Now they pay $70 and we are asked to pay $120+.
I can't find a shop stocking the B5 Bonzers down here, other than Zak's in Melbourne and I'm not going to drive up there. RRP is $150. I'm getting them delivered to my door for AUD$100, from California.... A few weeks ago they would have only cost me AUD$90.
Aussie Retailers need to wake up and smell the coffee! They need to adjust some of their prices slowly. And if I had shares/stocks in any Aussie Retail Stores, I would be selling them down.
