Strange one but anyone have any experience shipping board's from New Zealand to Australia?

Have requested a quote from Pack and Send but no response and Qantas with no response so far.

Appreciate any advice/recommendations

Yeah, managed to get a quote from Pack and Send over the phone. Qantas over the phone referred me their email to get an email quote... So far i'm at around $350 to Tas which isn't too bad.

Did you have any companies in mind regarding consolidated freight? The issue with this is once it gets too mainland Aus I then need to get to Tassie which is approx $150 so it would need to be under $200

Qantas have been very good for the last few, I had someone buy my spoon in SA and shipped from Tas in 2 days for $150 so i'm thinking they are likely the best option.

Where abouts in NZ is it coming from? Bit of a pity i didn't see this earlier, my inlaws have left for a holiday in Tassie today.

If you go down adding into container then best to deal with Toll Freight or similar where offices in Auckland without having 3rd parties involved. Also Mainfreight and sure Google will give a lot of freight forwarders.

Just being nosy as to what board from NZ

Shipped my Mctav 9.3 and tools GC to Auckland and return as as Airline Pacific Blue not take Mals , wouldnt do it again , was about 500 all up , the Auckland end was painful freight terminal is busy as and customs closed weekends , plus screwed with fees .GC end easier as freight terminal walkable distance no excessive fees and customs not so anal , hind sight use airline that is mal friendly as not worth the effort.

Andy try Total Freight Solutions at Cambridge . Have used them a bit for getting boards to tas from all over Australia . Reckon NZ would be the same deal . Interested to see how you go .

Will try them as toll and Qantas still havent gotten back to me, crazy poor businesses really.. cheers
