Just a note to any 'Breezers coming up for the Noosa Festival which starts this Saturday 'arvo...Dan Carter and Mark Sutton from BoardCulture will be there in force, especially for the extra-ciricular activities!

Dan and his father (Andy Carter, President of Vicco club Maladiction on the Mornington Peninsula) will be competing in the Family Challenge and in their respective age divisions.

Mark will be there from the Thursday competing in the shorebreak with his daughter for any leftovers and is trying to scam a spot in the GSI One Challenge event.

You'll find us all at our usual haunt with the GSI and McTavish guys (at The Emerald on Hastings Street). Now time to pray to Huey for swell.... - Mark

lets get the record straight Asea has been copping a lot of injuries as of late but will accept them as i have had a good run considering my age.i haven't had a surf since with Mac and his love child chrispy,but hope to soon

Its hard to pick a good day cos there is so much variety. It depends what you like to watch - the S.., sorry, SU..'s, ah can i say it (SUP's) or the Logger Pro guys (my pick), or the action in the various age groups.

There is no full on Pro event like in previous years, so a lot of the pro guys are in the Logger Pro (they can ride modern boards - single fin only - but are primarily judged on trad/classic moves etc.). Some guys nominated for this include Josh Constable, Jackson Close, Harley & Harrison, Jared Mell, Mark McNamara, Jordie Brown.

Round one of the Logger Pro is on Monday with the semis on the Tuesday. All or most finals are on the following Saturday.

This Friday The Noosa Journal will apparently publish the final schedule of all events with approx start times. Text me if u need a bed - Mark
