Priority staying out of peoples way, not getting in to agro from locals.
Planning a family trip to Byron Bay in September school holidays.
I'm a crap SUP surfer, 2 daughters beginner level.
Don't want to get in anyone's way.
Don't need anything more than knee high.
Where is best to stay to walk to SUP friendly surf spots, and / or flatwater (not asking for much!)
Any places to avoid?
Looking at accommodation options / locations.
Any advice appreciated
