Nice post Big Spaz - you are a credit to the green room!!!!!

I really felt for that fella in the first clip at Shippies. Everything looked good when he decided to let go then it just doubled up on him and he knew he was absolutely farrrrrrked. Poor fella. I know what it feels like when a 2 to 2.5 overhead set cleans me up but that thing is a whole new dimension and one that I hope I never encounter. That place is mean. How the hell do you try and negotiate that incredible step in the wave? You need to be just a touch insane to take it on I think. I recall reading the history of that place and how that fella used to surf it by himself for many years paddling in. I imagine he knows the definition of a good thrashing!!
