Has anyone given the Beau Young Pendulum swing a go?... I've been looking at Beau's video and am kind of interested in buying one, but wouldn't mind seeing few reviews first.

plenty of hang 5 but not many 10 ..considering the wave quality & rider ability you would have thought more 10 time ...to me the board was marginal on nose riding going on that clip ..my opinion

Thanks Macaha and Bazz, for your input the video makes the Pendulum Swing an enticing offer, but as bazz said there's not quite enough nose riding in the clip to sell it to me... might have to keep my eye's peeled for a few reviews or look for another option maybe something with a stepdeck could be the way forward. He is such a smooth surfer.

There are other boards that he makes at good prices at the surfer warehouse , an ex member here had one model ...Mac may help with a bit more info ..

But he has a Sea Plane 10 foot to be honest, he catches heaps of waves but thats about it,he tends to plant himself on the tail and at take off and stays there.

what about durability wise ..is it lasting Mac ..?

I must say it has stood up very well,a whole lot better than I've seen others,perhaps they have improved the quality.


I've just received a nasty text from the ex member you speak of Bazz,he informs me he takes off on the nose.

To be perfectly honest I've seen this guy 50 % better on other boards,but he wont have it,he could nose ride smack the lip get barrelled which I have not seen him do on his sea plane,thats my view surfing with him in the water.
