Can anyone give me some advice about longboarding in Bali? I am going there next week and getting nervous about the size and speed. I have 2 boards..8'8 tri fin and 8'0 hull, single flex fin. Any breaks forgiving enough for a longboard? Or should I just assume I'm not going surf while I am there? I hope not!!! Any advice from an avid longboarder is greatly appreciated
The beach breaks can be heavy at low tide, hit them mid to high, same as the reefs. Bali is really Goofy heaven, hit spots like Canggu and Keramas both have good right handers.
If its your first trip and need a driver let me know,I have a guy who will look after you from airport transfers to any other transport you need.
The locals are fine if you show respect just like anywhere, remember they have plane loads lobing in every day.
Take your 8.8 tri, you'll kick yourself if you don't surf over there and what else can you do all day shop noway get into it and remember photos for us on your return. No photos it didn't happen.

Thanks so much for the advice! A friend of mine knows someone who lives there, so he arranged for an airport pick up. Thanks for the offer though. I will definitely post pics when I return...I am there for 2 weeks! So stoked!
