Hi guy's, travelled to Bali many times around June, July and September but never December.

So at a guess,we will have to hit the west coast ? If so anyone got some suggestions for a good mal wave ?

Hi Mac
Just got back from Bali last night, caught up with Storman norman for a few waves.
Mainly stayed on Sanur side due to the wind starting to swing off shore in the morning.
WA in Dec good luck, unless you windsurf or teabag.
No we do get some swell then but not big & the Freo doctor comes in around mid day.
I will be on holidays from around mid Dec , so keep intouch & maybe able to show ya a few spots.

Are travelling on you're own ? and based in Perth ?

I think he means WEST COAST of BALI Fester!!!!!not our lovely state of WA.

Hav been in Dec "62mac" very humid and wet and didnt really find much in the way of good surf.. but didnt really try hard to find any either....
Ill be watching this post to see if anyone has been and scored good mal waves as well

Cheers Jabba

Not too many traditional Mal waves around. Try Sanur boat harbour or even Srilankas out at Nusa Dua. If ur real keen try Karamas!!!

Surfed the harbour a few years ago, it was only around the three foot mark.

Yeh the public boat or parama boat is ok but takes ages.
The quicksilver is great bit a little expensive.
