this has been debated at length in the sup forum however I would rather hear what real surfers have to say,my son came home from school the other day with one,a friend gave it to him. I asked him does it work and his response was, it helps your surfing,but does it work I ask again,not sure

My daughter has one as well but doesn't seem to think too much of it.

Mac - there's an article in this months Choice magazine... in short, they did a double blind test and concluded that there was no discernable benefit at all - other than possible placebo affect. Oct issue - pg 8.

By all means mac go buy one ,you'll need all the help you can for round 2.By the way i asked the question many months ago to different people wearing them and others who looked into them and got the same response as our fellow breeze members stated.A load of sh.. You can safely bet that BB won't be going out and getting one. I would rather spend the $60 on a carton of southern.

I personally think the whole thing is a crock of sh#t and anyone who wears one is either 1) sponsored and as such didnt pay for it or, 2)has more money than sense.

If anyone really think that their surfing needs an edge then make a fin adjustment or get someone to video them surfing and start working on improving technique. And maybe you can sit around watching the video while drinking the $60 worth of piss that you saved by not buying a useless piece of rubber crap.

However, I recall them being at Bells at Easter, and I took absolutely no notice of them, as I went from the beer tent to the surf.... I would like to at least put one on, and do their tests, and then comment properly !
