well the only thing about that squad is that it is predictably unpredictable. You have to ask yourself what those selectors have been doing the last 12mths. Amazing. I disagree about Haddin - I think that Wade is a poor keep in comparison and his battling is not significantly better to justify his inclusion in the team. Also Brad has good leadership skills, experience and he gets on with Clark - which is no small feat by the sound of it! Wade makes enough mistakes in a match - and if you do those against England they will punish you big time. I guess the selectors have decided that enough is enough re rebuilding for the future - lets concentrate on these next 10 tests first and foremost.

Its clear Watto was pushed!!!!

I think they should probably unselect themselves.

To win a Test Match you need to bowl the other team out twice.

Bowling attack of Bird, Harris, Pattinson, Siddle, Starc, Lyon, Faulkner, part timers in Warner & Watson we might just, however not sure if they will have enough runs to play with.

How many of these blokes don't have a CA contract?

Aside from Clarke and Khawaja all the other specialist batsmen are natural openers that will be asked to play out of position. Has to be a liability.

Think Wade is lucky to be there at all . Number 2 keeper should be the Tassie keeper Tim Payne .

Selection of Rogers is a weird one . Didn't he play his only test about 10 years ago

Yep!

Tux, it is sensible and traditional to bring 2 keepers to England. Anyone can get injured. Mat Wade would fully understand! But I understand the point you are making.

But, it must be time we burnt some bails in the middle of the MCG to signify the end of a brilliant Australian Cricket period! They could be like a replica set that we actually drag around the world... Winner takes home.
