Anyone is welcome to steal it, because I stole it from Spike Milligan in 1981.

That was the year his "Goon Show" colleague Harry Secombe was Knighted by the queen, Harry was quite rotund and Spike made the joke that after his honorarium he would henceforth be known as "Sir Cumference .
