i am hanging for a wave, and Newcastle has been blown out for two weeks now. So i was thinking about having a couple sick days and heading up to Seal Rocks to recover. So whats it like there in a south wind? From google earth there looks like there 2 beaches also. One out front of a tourist park and another further round.
so is it worth a drive?

There was a guy in the sup forum who worked or owned the caravan park and he was always talking the place up,he got hung out the dry by the bullies for pimping his van park

Unless the swell is huge it needs to be east to nor'east for the 2 north facing beaches to work. And you can expect a huge crowd of long boarders and SUPs these days.

That's how people did it before the internet.

You never know unless you go.

But I'd say it isn't worth the effort this week. Try closer to home.

Get up there. Have surfed the point opposite the caravan park from a foot to overhead on short and longboards.
With this wind and swell it will have a wave, most likely for a mal. Swell is dropping, so today or tomorrow (Thursday) would be the best.
