in my experience anything George Rice is gold. you rarely and i mean rarely find one sub 1.5k and if it is, its beat to crap and is just a horrible design in general. I have seen boards like this except without a D fin fetch around the 2.5 - 3k mark. Custom build is atttractive though. If you are not desperate for money i would try iit around the 2k mark and see what interest you attract. George Rice boards are never something you should let go in a hurry because poeple out there pay big bikkies for them

Thanks for the vote of confidence Cobra..the market is a bit flat on 60's boards at present, unless it's an exceptional specimen..

George Rice boards for Vicco collectors/riders would be at a premium..I might be wrong but $1000-1200 would be about it for a Rice fanatic Marky..

Quite timely as I have just had a guy drop a George Rice in to sell. Has been partly restored with the original red pigment sanded back. Has revealed an interesting set of ricies where the glasser must have been testing some colours. Pretty straight condition and chasing $800
