KEY ORA!

Oh, um, well, I have met James Cameron, but I wouldn't say we're friends, so avatar remains.

Any opinions on the CD?

I've looked at a couple but never ridden one, wouldn't mind having a go on one. They look like they'd be fun in little beachy waves.

They seem to just be a shrunk down lb, 18- 20 inch nose, and a pretty wide tail about 14 maybe more..they didn't seem that thick, most of the volume is in the width and the round nose. I think the one I looked at was about 2.5 inch thick

Maybe have a look at the GSI website, they usually have a review and a video from the designer. I think it was in there range but not sure

Or waldens site is

Hey SUPCruz

This maybe off topic but I actually rode one (looks similar) about 3 or 4 yrs go for a w/e - I borrowed one from a shop whilst my other board was getting fixed. From memory it paddled extremely well but was a bit of a pig - my normal board at the time was a 6'3" 7s - which probably figures. It went well in average to below average waves but struggled when it got hollow and the size picked up. Having said all that I probably had 4 or 5 surfs on it and did enjoy it over all but would probably not want to own one myself. I do not normally ride boards like that and can see the reasons why people may want to but they are just not for me. Walden make some nice boards.

Good luck with yr purchase decision.

Thanks SP - I did get a little homesick this morning when my old back yard entered my inbox!!! Ahhhhh I love this time of the year over there - its like here - early winter swells, kind winds and warm (relatively speaking) water temps.

Oh well - lets hope he does not score to much and send loads of people over to disturb the peace!

Do you get Joels Saltmotion one as well? I think his shots are better as a general rules - he is in the Maldives on a boat this week.
