Had the anchor wetsuit sale in town on the weekend .

Absolute bargains to be had for top quality wetsuits , top of the range 7,5,4 , $275

3/2 glued sealed steamers made from super stretch material , my favorite wetsuits, $200 , Spring suits $90

. Lucky for us in Tassie this is an annual event traveling from Hobart up to the north coast . Needless to say spent shiploads , new wetties for myself and the kids and wifey to get us through the next 12 months .

I thought that was a mis-print!!!! Why not use a heated wetsuit? Would be so much easier surely?

I surfed in Chile down the south with water temps of 6 to 8 degrees and almost froze my nuts off. I had a 5/4/3 with a thermo vest, kidney belt, hood and big thick booties. Ice cream headaches as soon as you hit the water (actually probably before hand just thinking about it). That was the coldest water I ever surfed and the last time I ever surfed water anywhere near that cold....I am not sure I have it in me anymore.......I think a 3/2 is my idea of winter wetsuit these days

No , not a misprint Ted , nice suits but too thick for me .

Apparently these are the suits worn down at shipstern bluff according to the salesman .

Couple of blokes here wear them midwinter .
