My son made one as a high school project came out nice however its never been ridden.

Haven't used or built one Andy but have spent some time sailboarding and camping at elliot heads , Magic place except for the sandflies .

I am pretty sure there was some discussion on these on surfing waves forum a while back ( hope I am allowed to mention other forums )

Last time we camped there was about 15 years ago. Had a neighboring camper suffer some sort of pschycotic attack , beat up the shop owner then smash his car and shop . The mounted police ended up bringing him down with tear gas in the river mouth . Pretty scary stuff .

But great place to sailboard in the river mouth there not that I ride a sailboard these days . Actually the whole coastline in that area is a great place to visit . Have spent a bit of time at Bargara Beach and 1770 as well .

yep all great as long u dont go into town, and yea great kite spot but i gurantee the river has changed sooooo much its amazing

they dont float me
