Thanks Baz that was great,I was only saying to the wife two days ago I think I've only got another 5 years of surfing left in me and that I've noticed the last 5 I've slowed down heaps. 40 - 45 ok 45 - 50 ok but 50 0n I've noted the difference. Yeah I could lose some pounds but I like my food oh and beer too much

80 years old and still surfing Margret River main break, man thats amazing its been 30 years + since I have been out there and got a flogging / my arse handed to me .

The Fishman absolutely is one of our icons he'll still be carving up the beach I saw him frothing at the near perfect conditions today

At just 61 i lived in WA for many years and to surf that break isnt always easy ,legend

I surfed with a prone surfer in Hawaii. On paddling back out one time, i was resting and watching him. He paddled up and sat with me for a moment. After a few light questions i asked him why he prone surfs.. He laughed and said "Im too old to stand up sonny".. A huge grin and he paddled off, beating me to the take off by a considerable amount of time..
