Agree!

That involvement goes well in nice waves ! Very happy with her, after 2 early dud surfs in average conditions. No question, you have to surf it in the old school style. Pumping and open face carves are not for her.

PS - BB is back in the SUP forum!

Hopefully a couple weeks I'll have a picture of something. Went and had a stroll through 6oz this evening. If the rails in that point conception secret where a bit thicker it was mine or it that vouch was wider (talking 2.5") it was mine. Am I too picky? Not like I can surf worth a damn

Put this little clip together this morning of my boards.

I know there are 4 x sups in there but 4 longboards and 4 'shortboards' all being the elder statesman style shortboards at 8'0 for 3 of them and the 7'6 being a mini mal shape. A longboarder at heart but mixing it up for the conditions is what it's all about and only improves overall surfing.

After years of ignoring epoxy, I've finally decided that they have much more going for them then against them....settle down purists !

Very light on for compressions and great re-sale but in the surf where it counts, the weight of the bigger boards is that middle ground between too light and too heavy and that extra flex that you don't find in poly boards IMO really gets you in the pocket and flexing out of turns better than old skool boards.

I'm frothin' over the MR 7'6 right now too but it'll have to wait a while....and the only 'must have' which I don't have now is a 9'6 Fireball.....the ultimate allrounder.

NSP 'Cruiser' Longboard (My Sunday Morning Crowd Beater).
11'0 x 25 3/4 x 4 1/16

Walden 'Magic Model' Longboard

South Point 'Bonga' Mini Mal
7'6 x 21 1/8 x 2 7/8

No creases bro. I've seen one creased but I also had one a couple years back that survived some heavy treatment for months no issue (the old blue swirl 9 footer).

I've also snapped poly boards with 6x6 decks and 8oz so all boards crease/snap if they fold the wrong way.

I'm surprisingly happy with both of them, bought them for both 40% retail price and classified them both as throw away's but they have exceeded all expectations. Was talking to a guy on the 8' today and he is loving it as well.

I'm 100kg and the 7'6 paddles amazingly well again exceeding expectations.

Here's a recent video of the 9' on a ledgy reef down here. No time for nose rides, it's just short sharp sections and it does it with ease.

Thanks......glad you liked. Coming up north in a few weeks and might just come home with a new McT if Mr Wallace looks after me.
