I do have some questions for youguys,related toO'Neill Gooru Vest

My name is Ron, I'm 30 years old, a wave surfer (my experience is about 2year).
During that timeI broke my ribs twice, while I was falling into the water.

I would like to buy myself, the O'Neill Gooru Vest in order to prevent some ribs injuries in the future, also to minimize the risk of broken ribs while I'm falling Into the water.

What can you share with me, according to your own experience with that vest:

1). Is it possible to lying down on the board with that? (is it comfortable?)
2). Can you still dive under waves with it on?
3). Does it give much float and get you to the top quicker?
4). Can I use it over my skin under a loose fit long sleeve surf shirt? (on a very warm weather)
5). Does it actually preventing the damages to your body?
6). If you have any general tips for me, or things I forgot to ask according to using that Gooru Vest

i got it from BCF for $15 it's fab has great colours and looks cool in the lineup
+ it has a whistle.
i love pumping out techno tunes on my whistle in the surf.

its my second vest as I broke the whistle, the helpful man At BCF said The pea blu out.

I love my vest ,I've found I even wear it to IGA and the paper shop BUT you won't get in to any pubs..
bastards.

I wish the pea blew out of the refs whistle when Souths played Parra recently

its even got an ergonomic 'tie down',,,easy on the crotch and eye

Pffffft black and no whistle.

Me Do......very comfortable vest (if purchasing get one maybe on small size as they stretch a bit over time.
Mine gets used when I am terrified in biggish surf (gotta enjoy that extra quick pop up time after a wave chucks you into a washing machine) ....and sometimes for a bit of extra warmth over a 2/3
